“ My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine's Day and had a great time! We were 45 minutes late due to traffic and they were able to accommodate us and seat us right away. We ordered the plantains, vegetarian tacos, chicken enchiladas, guacamole, and queso fundido. The queso fundido arrived a little too burned, so we didn't have much to eat around the charred areas. The guacamole was alright - could've used some more flavor. Everything else was served perfectly and we enjoyed every bite! The ambiance was very romantic and we loved the service. The food arrived very quickly. Def a spot to check out in the Marina! ”
“ love the vibes here. all the staff was very nice. tres leches cake was the star of the night. I liked the carnitas the best fish was solid but the carne asada was just a disappointment. ”
“ Came here at 1:30pm on a Saturday and no wait! We chose to sit outside since they had the heaters on and it was such a casual, cozy vibe. We started off with the guacamole appetizer and it had a nice tangy flavor to it. The chips were fresh and thin, which I prefer for tortilla chips. I ordered the carnitas bowl and it looks quite small, but was actually pretty filling with the app. The carnitas were well seasoned and each of the components paired well. The service was good; they actually only checked on us once but I don't mind since I like to just enjoy my meal. I do like how they don't rush you even when you're finished! The only thing is this place is on the pricier side. Parking is a little tricky in the Marina but if you park a few blocks away from Union Street, you can manage to find some non-metered spots. ”
“ Enjoyed a dinner here with a large group of coworkers and everything was pitch perfect. From the delicious cocktails, to scratch made tortillas and everything in between it was excellent. Being with a group we ordered several dishes to split. My favorite of which was, hands down, the queso fundido (melted oaxaca cheese, mushrooms, onion, kale, salsa molcajete, served with tortillas). Cheese and mushrooms? You got me hook, line, and sinker, y'all! I was also lucky enough to try the guac (delish), ceviche (also great), fried plantains (omg), and the carne asada entree, a juicy skirt steak served with crispy potatoes, rajas con crema, chimichurri and tortillas. I would 100% order that again as my entree. As for ambiance? The place was bangin'! Very busy for a midweek, so having involved conversations was not an easy task, so if you're hoping to have a nice chat or are looking for a lowkey dining experience, this ain't it. But if you're game for a lively atmosphere, great drinks and even better food this will be your jam. You're gonna want to make a reservation for that, tho! ”
“ Great spot for happy hour! I love the flautas the salsa is delicious. Good drinks and great service it's a go to spot. Very cute, trendy, modern with Mexican twist. Lots of seating for large groups, has bar area and seating in front. ”
“ Make a reservation here for a Wednesday night or you may not get seated! It was packed! Lots of recent college grads--some of them I thought looked like they could be in high school. We were seated in a parklet outside and the heat lamp was not on, but it was on in the other one because that one had more people! The chips and guac were pricey ($13ish) but very good. My boyfriend and I enjoyed carne asada and carnitas fajitas. Both were filling, flavorful, and juicy. The cocktails and margaritas are also very good! Will be back. ”
“ We stopped in here one night for a work/team dinner. This place was packed to the brim with people so I am super glad we had a reservation in a great spot in the back. It was such a nice vibe with the decor and the windows that I was very happy. It felt like we were transported to a whole new place. Super cool. There were a bunch of us so we had a bunch of things but here's what I can remember. We started off with some drinks (when in Rome as they say), and some starters like the chips, guac, and salsa. It was and will always be the best starter for a dinner in my opinion. We added in some ceviche and queso. Not a big ceviche person but that queso was delicious. It was in a hot skillet and was perfect for the tortilla or chips to scoop. I also had a couple of carne asada tacos which were also very good. That's my go-to taco so I am glad they were good or that might've been a bummer. All in all, the food was absolutely delicious and I left with a good buzz from the drinks and a full stomach. Success! Our server was so quick and catered to everyone in our group so well. When it comes to award winning businesses, they know what they're doing, hence the Michelin award! This is a very cool spot, you'd be making the right decision to check it out. ”
